Colette has lived the last seventeen years of her life being hidden away as a part of the lowest class of people. They are the Vaporless. Defects in a perfect world. And Colette was the worst of them. Or so they all said.

Disaster has stuck her land. The precious life and Vapor giving Tree of Knowl is dying and the once beautiful Vapors are now killing their hosts. The leaders of the land, The Triunity; Eviya, Adamek, and Levi place a bounty for the blood of every Vaporless to be sacrificed as a way to reverse the curse, saving the Tree and in turn themselves.

Now on the run, Colette meets Rowan, leader of the rebel group, R.H.I.S.K. and the two unlikely allies' team up to bring an end to the Triunity's tyranny and save every Vaporless from being sacrificed.
